BRAND MANAGEMENT
The Brand Management team drives the success of Authentic’s world-renowned business around the world. It works closely with our partners to achieve a cohesive brand presence and integration across all products, partnerships and points of sale. It is also responsible for ensuring continued organic growth and viability in the global market across all channels through strategic licensing programs and retail distribution.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The Business Development team drives growth by identifying white space, demand and new opportunities, expanding each brand’s footprint around the world. Working closely with the Brand Management team, the team cultivates strategic partnerships and extends brands into new categories and ventures, with the goal of generating top-line growth across the Authentic portfolio.
MARKETING
The Marketing team generates awareness, relevance and consumer engagement. It brings each brand’s unique voice, DNA and selling proposition to life through original campaigns, compelling content and immersive storytelling. The Marketing team spans various disciplines, including social media, content development, PR and earned media, creative, visual merchandising and production. It embraces strategic planning and execution, oversees brand building and drives best-in-class support and enablement for Authentic’s brand licensing partners.
DIGITAL
The Digital team drives the long-term growth of select Authentic owned and operated brands through customer-centric content creation across all digital touchpoints. It analyzes product trends, competitor insights, omnichannel markets and purchasing behavior to enrich Authentic’s first-party customer data and enhances Authentic’s royalty-based licensing business through marketing, data, commerce, enterprise solutions and membership.
VISUAL & CREATIVE SERVICES
The Visual & Creative Services team defines, designs and implements creative visual merchandising strategies that elevate the overall brand image and tell compelling stories. It leverages a blend of business acumen and creative vision as well as provides artistic direction for all visual displays both on and off Authentic premises. It is responsible for reflecting the authenticity and genuine DNA of each brand across key channels.
COMMUNICATIONS
The Communications team leads the development and implementation of integrated corporate and brand communication strategies that drive relevancy and growth on a global scale. It drives Authentic’s corporate storytelling to both external and internal audiences. The Communications team covers key functions, including corporate storytelling, communication strategy, stakeholder education and engagement and media relations.
AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCES
As Authentic’s location-based experiences (LBE) business enters a stage of rapid growth and expansion, the Authentic Productions team leads the ideation, creation and production of Authentic branded experiences and platforms. The team also plans and executes flawless brand-centric marketing production initiatives that drive awareness, relevance and engagement.
FINANCE
The Finance team identifies opportunities to improve the growth and profitability of Authentic’s business by delivering insights and leading initiatives that drive optimized financial decision-making. It supports development budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, as well as leverages the company’s reporting, analytics and financial planning platform.
LEGAL
With our business being intellectual property licensing, the Legal team sits front and center at Authentic. Responsible for advising the Brand, Business Development and Marketing teams regarding best practices for structuring, securing and managing partnerships, the Legal team is largely involved in the dealmaking process and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to draft, negotiate and execute our contracts. It also provides legal counsel across the organization.
MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS
Responsible for acquiring the brands owned and managed by Authentic, the M&A team evaluates prospective deals and conducts due diligence on target companies. It performs financial modeling and valuation analyses as well as negotiates key transaction documents. It also creates the initial roadmap and post-closing strategy for newly acquired brands and facilitates their integration into the Authentic business.
PEOPLE AND CULTURE
Overseeing all aspects related to managing Authentic’s talent, the People and Culture team is focused on curating the culture of the company through recruiting and staffing; compensation and benefits; training and learning; employee relations; and organizational development. It creates and implements programs designed to increase the effectiveness of Authentic’s business worldwide.
OPERATIONS
The Operations team improves processes and resolves operational challenges by providing high-touch support to Authentic staff throughout the workday. It coordinates and oversees all administrative duties across Authentic offices around the world. In collaboration with HR, it ensures all business needs are appropriately met and that colleagues have the resources they need to do their best work.
