Authentic Partners with Belle Fashion to Drive Champion’s Business in Greater China
Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), a global leader in brand development, marketing and licensing, has announced a strategic partnership with Belle Fashion Group (Belle Fashion), a leading enterprise in China’s fashion apparel and footwear industry. The two powerhouses have established a joint venture to drive the Champion’s business in the Greater China market. This strategic alliance lays the foundation for a long-term collaboration that will unlock new opportunities for growth and development for Champion and both companies in China.
Through the agreement with Authentic, Belle Fashion, having previously secured the licensing rights for Champion's footwear and accessories in 2021, has now officially obtained the license for Champion's apparel products in the Greater China. Leveraging Authentic Brands Group's global brand management expertise and Belle Fashion's deep understanding of the local market, the partnership aims to drive Champion's brand presence in China.

Belle Fashion first joined the brand in 2019 when it successfully established Champion’s trendy sports positioning in the Chinese market. Through the newly established partnership, Belle Fashion will continue its operation of Champion in Greater China, implementing a vertically integrated brand management approach that encompasses brand positioning, consumer insights, product planning and design, flexible supply chain, marketing, merchandise management, omnichannel retail operations, and member experience. With a century-long history, Champion is not only the inventor of the hooded sweatshirt but also the originator of the Ivy League campus sportswear style.
