Sports Illustrated Tickets and Washington Nationals Announce Multi-Year Partnership
Sports Illustrated Tickets and Nationals Team Up to Reimagine the Fan Experience; Launch New ‘Sports Illustrated Tickets Club’ with SI Storytelling Honoring Washington, D.C., Sports History
Sports Illustrated Tickets and the Washington Nationals today announced a multi-year agreement designating Sports Illustrated Tickets as an Official Fan Experience Partner of the team. Together, the two organizations will introduce new offerings designed to bring fans closer to the game through enhanced access, comfort, and connection – set to roll out in conjunction with the second half of the 2025 baseball
season and beyond.
As part of the collaboration, the Nationals will unveil the “Sports Illustrated Tickets Club” at Nationals Park – a newly created, next-level viewing and hospitality experience that combines sections 201–205 on the Mezzanine Level. The space will offer great views from left field and covered seats.
Fans purchasing Sports Illustrated Tickets Club seats, featuring 1,300 total seats, will receive a free drink and hot dog, or other concessions items totaling $26, as well as access to its dedicated air-conditioned lounge just for the Club ticket holders. Tickets go on-sale starting today and can be purchased at nats.com/drinkandadog.
Fans will be able to get their own Sports Illustrated Fan Cover that they can take with them as a commemorative item from the game. In addition, the partnership will bring to life “Sports Illustrated Defining Moments” inside Nationals Park – a fan-forward storytelling platform that transforms SI’s 70-year editorial archive into curated, interactive displays. Located in and around the Sports Illustrated Tickets Club, Defining Moments will celebrate the franchise’s legacy and the broader Washington, D.C., sports scene through iconic SI covers, articles, award-winning photography, and more.
“Our collaboration with the Washington Nationals showcases our vision of helping our team partners improve the fan experience in a way that only Sports Illustrated can,” said David Lane, CEO, Sports Illustrated Tickets. “Through the ‘Sports Illustrated Tickets Club,’ ‘Defining Moments’ and SI Fan Covers we’re creating a premium and affordable experience for thousands of fans at Nationals Park.”
“This partnership with Sports Illustrated Tickets will help us continue to offer first-class experiences to our fans at Nationals Park,” said Nationals Vice President, Corporate Partnerships, Matt Lemire. “The Sports Illustrated Tickets Club will offer our fans incredible value, as well as exclusive access to a hospitality space that showcases the rich history of the D.C. sports world through the iconic Sports Illustrated lens.”
