ABG Spotlights: Sustainable Styles
"ABG Spotlights," a rotating presentation throughout its New York headquarters, featured sustainable styles for Earth Day. The multi-brand vignette showcased products from around the world, highlighting key looks from collaborations and brands including: Juicy Couture x Parade, Nautica x Oceana, Prince VS Zara, Aéropostale Repreve Jeans and Impact, Frye Conscious Collection, Hickey Freeman Honeyway Collection, Nautica Sustainably Crafted, Tretorn Eco Essentials and Volcom Eco True and Water Aware Jeans.
Aero Impact Builds a Brighter Tomorrow
In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint, Aéropostale has expanded its use of recycled cotton and polyester fabrics to create a conscious collection made from a mix of pre- and post-consumer waste.
The brand’s responsible collection of denim is sustainably manufactured with Repreve recycled polyester yarns made from plastic bottles and other post-industrial waste, reducing waste in landfills and conserving water and energy in the process.
Additionally, the Aero Impact collection uses organically grown cotton produced without the use of pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers from seeds that have not been genetically modified. Learn more about Aéropostale’s eco-friendly clothing.
Brooks Brothers Goes Vintage for Earth Day
Brooks Brothers, which traces its history to 1818, has created “The Vintage Shop” on its website to celebrate its heritage and shine a light on some of its most iconic pieces. Nautica Rounds Up for Oceana
This Earth Day Nautica is highlighting Oceana Board of Directors member and professional big wave surfer from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, Maya Gabeira. Her work as an Oceana Ambassador has spanned over 10 years and includes filming the “Catch a Break” PSA, which focuses on protecting marine habitat.
