Authentic’s brands took part in honoring the planet and embracing a greener future on Earth Day, an annual event observed around the world on April 22 to show support for environmental protection. Inter Miami CF Launches One Planet Jersey for Earth Day

 
 

David Beckham’s Inter Miami CF MLS team has launched its adidas One Planet jersey, completing a three-part campaign with the goal of promoting responsible plastic use. The Inter Miami CF First Team will wear the limited-edition kits on April 22 on the road against the Houston Dynamo at Shell Energy Stadium.

In honor of Earth Month, Lucky Brand is partnering with local nonprofit FABSCRAP to educate consumers on sustainable and responsible consumption practices. The brand is highlighting the organization's efforts and messaging on their social channels to raise awareness on textile waste. 


Nautica and Oceana Match Donations Through Earth Month

 
 

Through the end of April, Nautica is matching all online round-up donations to Oceana up to $7,500, with a total of more than $2.5 million raised since the program's inception. The brand is also running a social media campaign to drive awareness in helping protect, preserve and restore the world’s oceans. 


Quiksilver Introduces Its Made Better Collection

 
 

Quiksilver has launched its Made Better collection, created entirely from repurposed production scraps and retired textile waste. Designed for circularity, the sustainable collection features a variety of shorts in a mix of bold patterns and prints. (The acquisition of Boardriders is expected to close in Q3 2023.)
