“The scale of the challenges facing our world can feel overwhelming, but inaction is simply not an option. There is something each and every one of us—from governments and businesses to foundations and artists—can do to help end extreme poverty, and that’s what Global Citizen NOW is all about,” said Hugh Evans, Co-Founder & CEO, Global Citizen. “Global Citizen NOW is not another conference where leaders gather to talk about problems. It’s where leaders come to announce solutions and take action. By bringing together governments, businesses, philanthropists, and artists, we mobilize real commitments in real time to help end extreme poverty."

“Culture can be a catalytic tool to inspire change, and it’s an honor to stand with an international movement that recognizes the collective power of dreams and purpose,” said Common, Global Citizen Ambassador. “I’ve long advocated for education and justice, knowing them to be critical pathways that hold the power to transform life outcomes. This spring, I look forward to taking the Global Citizen NOW stage alongside changemakers across activism, business, policy, philanthropy, and the arts to drive real, lasting impact in communities at home and around the world.”
