Authentic Drives the Narrative at Miami Race Weekend
This past weekend, Authentic showed up at the center of Miami Race Weekend, shaping conversations, convening culture and activating across every touchpoint.
The action kicked off with Authentic Upfront, Powered by IBM, a panel that brought together leaders across sport, technology and media for a conversation around fandom’s evolution beyond the track and how companies are redefining what it means to participate in sport today.
Later that evening, Authentic translated insight into influence, hosting an exclusive kickoff celebration that drew celebrities and cultural tastemakers at the intersection of sport, fashion and entertainment.
The momentum continued with Sports Illustrated’s Circuit Series, underscoring the Miami Race Weekend as one of the most culturally relevant moments on the global calendar, with Authentic at the center of it all.
AUTHENTIC UPFRONT, POWERED BY IBM
Hosted at The Four Seasons in Surfside, Florida, Authentic Upfront, Powered by IBM, brought together Authentic Founder, Chairman and CEO Jamie Salter, seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, IBM VP of Sports and Entertainment Partnerships Kameryn Stanhouse and Scuderia Ferrari Head of Fan Development Stefano Pallard to explore the future of fandom, culture and commerce in a conversation moderated by Sports Illustrated Editor-in-Chief Stephen Cannella.
With more than 800 million Formula 1 fans worldwide, and fewer than one percent attending a race in person, the discussion centered on a fundamental shift: Fandom is no longer defined by proximity, but by participation. Panelists explored a new model of engagement, where live experiences act as the entry point. By aligning brands with cultural moments, activating in real time and scaling through a global network of partners, the platform connects culture and commerce in ways that extend far beyond the circuit.
VIP COCKTAIL RECEPTION
Later that evening, Authentic, Jamie Salter and Kevin Hart took the celebration to the next level, hosting a star-studded cocktail party that set the tone for the weekend. The exclusive gathering saw a curated mix of global talent, athletes and celebrities, reflecting the reach of the Authentic platform.
From Alix Earle and Serena Williams to Hailey Bieber and Bethenny Frankel, the guest list captured the convergence defining modern fandom, where personalities drive attention and engagement beyond the teams themselves.
Other notable attendees included Daymond John, Kevin O'Leary, Xandra Pohl, Shaun White and Caroline Wozniacki.
More than a celebration, the event showed that Miami Race Weekend has evolved into a cultural stage, and Authentic is helping shape how brands show up within it.
SPORTS ILLUSTRATED Circuit Series
Sports Illustrated brought its Circuit Series back in a big way, transforming the Guitar Hotel Pool at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood into the ultimate Miami Race Weekend destination.
Sport, music and culture collided for one of the most talked-about nights of the weekend. DJ Diesel, the high-energy alter ego of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, headlined alongside Canadian electronic duo Loud Luxury, who kept the crowd locked in from start to finish. Together, they delivered a set that carried from the stage into social feeds worldwide.
Set against one of South Florida’s most spectacular venues, the Circuit Series captured the full cultural spectacle that Miami Race Weekend has become, not just a race, but a global cultural platform.
