Aéropostale, Forever 21 and More Celebrate #GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday was established in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good and has grown into a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities.

This holiday season, Aéropostale, Barneys New York, Brooks Brothers, Forever 21, Frederick's of Hollywood, Lucky Brand, Nine West and Nautica give back to Boys and Girls Club of America, Delivering Good, Feeding America, St. Judes and others. See below to learn more and get involved.

Aéropostale and Lucky - Feeding America

Aéropostale has partnered with Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, to help provide meals for people in need. The brand is inviting shoppers to round-up their purchases to the next whole dollar to be contributed to Feeding America at checkout in all Aéropostale (open) store locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. During this period, Aéropostale will match all customer donations up to $25,000. Click here for more information.

More families than ever will not have enough to eat this holiday season, so Lucky Brand has partnered with Feeding America, which is the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. A $1 donation helps provide at least 12 pounds of groceries through the Feeding America network of food banks. A generous donor will also match up to $200,000 in donations to provide an additional 2 million meals. Lucky Brand is encouraging its shoppers and social followers to donate directly to Feeding America here.

Aéropostale Kids Mexico - Casa De La Amistad

For the holiday season, Aéropostale Kids Mexico will donate gently used children’s clothing to Casa de la Amistad, an organization that is committed to raising the survival rate of low-income boys, girls and young people who suffer from cancer in Mexico.

Barneys New York x Krost - Food Bank for New York City and One Warm Coat

To support the New York community during the pandemic, Barneys New York and Krost have partnered with the Food Bank For NYC and One Warm Coat. The Food Bank For NYC provides meals to families disrupted by Covid-19. For every $1 given at checkout on Krost's and Basic.Space's websites, as well as Barneys Japan and Selfridges London, shoppers can choose to donate 5 meals to vulnerable students and families through Food Bank for NYC or one coat to someone in need through One Warm Coat. Brooks Brothers Japan - Make a Wish

In addition to donating a portion of profits from the brand’s Charity Tote Bags to “Make a Wish,” Brooks Brothers Japan is also working on a sustainability project encouraging customers to bring gently-used items into the stores in exchange for a coupon. The items are then recycled and used to make new clothes. Learn more about the program here.

Forever 21 launched its "It's The Love You Give" holiday campaign which will raise funds through the sales of specially marked Holiday Collection items and limited-edition holiday gift bags, with a fundraising goal of $1 million.
